I DID IT!!!

WELL,I DID IT!!!
I booked my first sheep hunt!
I am booked for Dall Sheep in'05 Alaska,either 14c or the Brooks Range if I don't draw.
I gotta start training! I started a couple years out on my Kodiak hunt and attribute my success to being in top shape.
So if you don't see me here as much as usual,I'm bustin' ass!
YEAHHHHH!

Congrats and good luck. The all mighty sheep used to not have much effect on me, but now they are something I crave. I think it started for me when I saw someone Grand Slam collection at a show and I got to thinking how cool it is. Someday...

I'm excited for you. You have a good attitude, the preparation/training is part of the experience. I tape pictures, motivational phrases & quotes on the mirrors in my workout room.

I remember one quote that I still have saved writen by cb in GSC magazine "They say when you put your hands on the horns of your first ram, something magical happens to you". ENJOY!

I looked for you at the sheep show last week, who did you book with? I am going to book also for either this year or next, there are a few outfitters with openings still for '04 I just have decide which one. it has been a dream of mine for a long time to hunt Dall's, can't wait. congrats to you too.

I was going to book a hunt with Dan Montgomery,but he was booked into '07!
I ended bookin a hunt with a guy that does quite a bit of guiding for Dan, his name is Ernie Finch.
I am STOKED!

Congrats you lucky bastard! That is the hunt that I have been dreaming of for years. I have relative that live at the foot of the Wrangel range and will take me up if I ever get a chance.

HH: Great; hope you have a great time. My hunting partner booked his Dall/Brooks hunt for this year, since the outfitter had a sudden cancellation. August 10th thru 20th for him. I got to confirm my Africa trip and buy my plane ticket; OUCHHHHH!!!!!!
