Anybody hunted deer recently around Hyattville? Looks like there's some stretches of irrigated fields is there much for deer on the public off from them?

I hunted whitetail near Hyattville last fall on archery season. Most all the deer stayed right down in private...access was not as difficult as I expected but it would be much more difficult for access on the rifle hunt. Decent deer numbers but quality bucks were scarce.

Have to go east into the hills to get into the muleys?

They are mulies in the irrigated fields pretty much all year, but they will also bed close to those fields on private land and you might have to go up higher to the east in the BLM for a free DIY hunt.
