Hunting are C near Kaycee

I'll be huting area C for Muleys this year and area 21 for lopes. Last year there was a size restriction on the muley bucks there, I think it was 4 on one side or something like that. Does anyone know if they have the same restriction this year? It does not look like it to me, but I want to be sure.

Also, I'm looking for detailed maps, GPS coordinates or Google maps of the area. What is the best way to get close to the Ed O Taylor Wildlife Refuge on Google maps? I know it's near the Hole in the Wall Ranch, but I a having a difficult time pinpointing it.

In any case, this is my second trip out there, but I want to keep reading and researching here at home; therefore, I'd like to find a decent map source.

Anyway, any input whatsoever on those areas would be appreciated. I'm just surfing, looking and reading..

I am in the same position as you. I am looking into hunting that same area. I spoke with the kaycee game warden and he said there is not an antler restriction this year. That is about all I know. From looking at maps, there are alot of roads there

www.#####.com When you come in to Kaycee from buffalo make the first right, take the next left follow that road until it turns to dirt there are signs on the dirt road to point you in the right direction.

I hunted there about three years back.Saw alot of deer and killed a 21" 4x4. Didn't see anything any bigger.The road in there is pretty rough and slow going.Need a 4x4 vehicle.We also saw some nice 24" bucks harvested on private ranches near Kacee. Good luck.

The road that was opened for public access through the ranch has now been closed by the owner. Accessing the Ed Taylor Big Game winter range on the south side of outlaw canyon from the bottom is no longer possible.

No point restrictions, they don't seem to help the trophy quality much unless they are left in place for a few years in a row.
