These bills are up for hearing a 3 PM Wednesday February 23.
Hunters need to be there for support and to testify in support of these bills.

HB 2869
Requires state agencies to notify State Department of Fish and Wildlife before state agencies
restrict or close access to state lands used for hunting. Requires department to post notice for one week on department's website before state agencies may restrict or close access to state lands used for hunting.
HB2875
Specifies that public lands used for wildlife management purposes must be accessible for hunt-
ing. Requires State Fish and Wildlife Commission to avoid making management determinations thatresult in net loss of access to hunting on public lands used for wildlife management purposes. Directs State Fish and Wildlife Director to report to Legislative Assembly on acreage of public lands accessible for hunting.
