I have a remington cdl 300 ultra left handed {so options are limited}With a shephard scope. I haven't done much to it besides have the trigger worked on and a break put on it. I was looking at puting a HS precision stock on it. Will this help my groups at 300yards and beyond or is it going to stay the same as the original stock? I here they are heavy how much more weight than the wood stock? Is there recoil reducer they offer for $80.00 just a recoil pad if so is it any better than the simms that is on the original stocks? It would be nice to not have the break if I put on a new barrel if I could figure a way to lose some recoil. I know this should be in the shooting foum but it is a hunting rifle and things look slow over there.
