have any of you shot or had any experience with one. how do they they shoot, is it worth getting one or sticking with the trkon

I think you would have to shoot one. I have not. I considered buying one but went with a new 2006 model Trykon just because you can find them for under $500. From everything I've read and heard is that they have a super smooth draw while still retaining the speed of the Trykon and actually a little quieter too.

From , two different people that shoot quite a bit they both said that thier was a noticable difference . Lucky for me I get one of thier old bows.:)

I've shot the Vectrix and the Tykron. Liked them both. I thought the Vectix was alot more refined/smoother. I'd like to see an apples to apples comparison over a chronograph. If you get a screaming deal on a Tykron, you could accesorize the bow for what a bare Vectrix would cost. Just something to think about.

I have the vectrix since last november. The bow is great, smooth, quiet and deadly. I went to texas and shot Auodads and pigs. Works great. Many times we shot and the animals didn't even know where the shot came from. Well worth it.... lance.

I bought a trykon last year and shot an antelope with it. I actually prefer the trykons draw. Its a great bow and you could probally get a real bargain on one right now. Id go with a trykon.

Looking into a new bow I looked into the Vectrix. But be cause I havent fully grown Im looking at a different bow. But from drawing it back and having a good look at it, it in fact is a very nice bow, very smooth indeed.

I shot the Vectrix, I believe it is an upgrade from the Trykon, but it would not be my bow or brand of choice this year.

Of the ones I have shot, it would be the Mathews Drenalin, followed VERY closely by the Bowtech Guardian, then the Vectrix. However, there are many other bows by other companies that are also very good that I have not shot yet (Ross, Martin, Parker, PSE). I have not pursued this much as I am not in the market for a new bow.

I shot the Vectrix, the Guardian, and the Drenalin a few weeks ago as well as a few other bows. For me it came down to the Drenalin and the Vectrix, and in the end, the Vectrix was my pick. I liked how it felt in my hand and it seemed to be smoother all the way around. But.... I didn't buy it because I shoot the bow I have now really well and couldn't see the point in upgrading other than ego and speed, which I think is down the line of important things to consider. The brace height on all of these bows is a little shorter than I prefer as well. If you get the Vectrix, I would suggest the XL.
