Alright...who has the New Hoyt Trykon? Or has shot it more than once? I have a 2003 Hoyt Havoctec and love it. It was re-limbed last year with new Cam & 1/2's so it would fit me. I bought it off my buddy who worked at Hoyt and had it in his basement for two years..never shot at all. Relimbed/cammed because he was a shorty and I needed the longer draw length cams. Anyway, I like the way the New Trykon looks and have "the itch" to get a new bow. (The wife hates it...you all know the look I'm talking about when she hears talk of another "flippin huntin toy".) What are your experiences/comments. If its all good....I might sell my Havoctec to get the new Trykon. And if anyones interested in my Havoctec, let me know for pics.

I would shoot the trykon before making the decision. I went and shot the trykon and the trykon XL and was very impressed with both and am seriously considering the XL. I am basically in the same boat as you except with an Ultratec instead of a Havoctec. Also considering maybe just a new ultratec. Shoot the bow first though before making the decision.

Thanks Ut223....I like the name too! If I were to sell it I would have to get AT LEAST $550. I bought it NIB in Aug 2005 (it's a model year 2003...never had been used), had it re-limbed at Hoyt that month with 2005 model year XT2000 limbs for the different cam, New Cam & 1/2's for the 28.5"-30" Draw and has a 60-70 lb weight. Also has the new "Alpha-Shox" limb savers, and of course new buss cables and strings w/ "leeches". It looks exactly like a new 2005 bow. I LOVE IT to death! I've sweetened it up alot.......so I don't know if I'd want to part with it, except for a REALLY, REALLY good offer. I have the HOYT of the NAP drop-away rest with an Extreme Four pin sight, Quikee quiver, and a Carbon something gel filled stablizer to round out the package. It shoots like a dream. Really easy to pack on the mountain (31" Axle-to-Axle)...and light-weight. I guess we could have our own little ebay going....no shipping charge if your near the wasatch front area....cause that's where I live. :)
