I am looking at a couple of 2005 Hoyt bows. I am looking at the XTEC, VTEC, or Vipertec. I want a forgiving bow that is still pretty fast. length really does not matter much. In your opinion what bow is the best
Of the bows you listed I'd go with the VTEC and here's why. The Vtec riser was improved upon from the old Xtec. The basic geometery is the same but the new riser handles vibration better has a better designed grip and balance and that will affect accuracy. The Vibratec was a good bow but the Vtec is more forgiving and will shoot better if you're mainly after accuracy and I believe it also has a slight speed advantage. It has a slightly longer axle to axle length. All three are good bows and I'm sure you be happy with any of them for years to come. good luck!
