How was the X6b deer season this year? Daughter has a M3 tag

How did the X6b deer hunt go this year? I'll be up there this weekend prescouting for my daughter's M3 hunt that opens the 16th. Both my wife and I drew this tag back in 2009. I had a couple of buddies draw it as well. We have archery and rifle hunted it too in the past.
But I'm really excited to take my oldest daughter...and happy that she is excited as well. Hoping for some weather and rut action. We have limited time due to a funeral in Oregon the closing weekend.

Well it was tough finding deer let alone bucks today...4
But we did fing a punch drunk little 4x5 that I'm sure my daughter would be happy with....and a total stopper 4x4 with giant forks and mass...biggest body on a Ca mule deer I've ever seen....he didn't want to spend any time with us...now he's in Nevada...
