I was just wondering on how everybody is doing there? i had quite a experience with a Huge buck! I had an opporunity to go bowhunting after being so sick with my health for 15 months and could not hunt almost at all! Grr! but i am glad that i went with my brother in law which helped me to make sure i am in good health to hunt.

we went last friday after thanksgiving day and hiked half way from bottom to the top and stopped and glassing for couple of hours and then i spotted a giant muley that was kind of "hurrying feed and walking downhill" and we knew this is the buck we are after. so we walked downhill on opposite ridge from it and followed it to find a good place to interupt. but we lost it and i told my brother in law to stay and give me a signal if he spotted the deer as i hiked to the other side of little canyon and went to the place where i want to be at. then i checked with my binoculars to see what he saw and unfortuntly he didnt seen anything. then i just knew this is the place i was suppose to stay and wait for it to appear. and it did happen in about five minutes on other side of small canyon and it was only about 80 yards from me and i looked with my binoculars at it and was very exciting and it is no question this is a B&C buck with five by five, very deep forks on all of it and with very nice eyeguards about four inches and with very nice chocolate color with abit red on it! it is about 30 to 32 inches wide and about 24 inches height! so you get the idea on how really excited i am! and then waiting for it to come and it disappeared in heavy oaks area and it has two nature trails on each side of me and i had been waiting for about ten minutes of hoping for it to be near me. but all the sudden i was so surprised that i saw the anthers but without body or head to be seen wandering by me on right of TEN YARDS! as i was getting hurry to get my bow ready to take draw as the deer appeared but BUST! as my arrow were tripped off the rest and it heard the sound of it and it saw me and as i saw it the same time and like pop out each other with our eyes and it left in a big hurried into the oaks and got away! I was soooooooo mad about it and so disappointed that things happened too fast that i never thought that would occur to me! this is a "once a lifetime opporunity with archery" at a giant deer at those rugged mountains of wasatch front! so i am not finished hunting for it! it is still out there laughing at me! ha! at the same time i had a blast to experience like that! I called it Deep Trail Ghost Buck! Clever cover for it!

I hope many of you had a good time hunting at wasatch front!

On the other side of note that i am hoping to take a picture of it if hunting for it is unsuccessful this year. i hope the picture can be shown to you all.

Just wondering if I could get the coordinates on that buck ?fingers crossed? I already have my tag filled for this year so it's safe for about 9 more months LOL. I would like to take a few pictures myself it sounds like a MM. You can PM me if you like ?serious.?
