Rookie question. I know where and how to take the 2 mass measurements per side, the prong measurements, and horn lengths, however, what or where do you take the spread measurement? or do you?
There are 4 mass measurements on an antelope. Simply take the length of the longest horn, divide it into quarters, and take mass measuements at those points. There is no spread measurement. You can go the the Boone & Crockett website and it will give you instructions.
That's the info I needed. I kept coming up short about 14 inches on a couple of antelope I was "training on" and and article I read in eastman's only indicated 2 mass measurements per side. Thanks for the insight.
