I wonder why I'm having difficulty with my eyes focusing on both my pins and my target set 30 yards away. I had adequate light and am using Spott Hogg sights. It's not so bad with my top pin, but like, for example, at 25 yards, I use between the top pin and the 2nd pin. This becomes a blurred mess.

Think it could be because maybe my contacts were drying out? Anyone else ever encounter this problem? I really notice it after 20 or so shots when I'm really concentrating on the pins and on making an excellent shot.

Please advice......!!!!!!!!........!!!!!!! I'm getting frantic with my archery elk hunt just around the corner....

Do you use a peep sight? A small aperture peep sight will clear things up a little (more depth of field), but they will also darken the sight picture. You also might be experiencing a little bit of eye strain. Are you closing your non-aiming eye real tight? If so, you'll notice extremely blurry vision after a few shots. Just relax, and try to keep both eyes open. This won't be a problem while hunting, so don't worry about it too much.

Whatevery you do, don't PANICK!!!!!!! That always leads to bad shooting.
