Hound training???

We adopted a 1 year old redbone coonhound mix. He is house broken and knows how to kennel, sit, and shake. I would like to teach him how to track. Any ideas where to start? And how to go about it?

track what?...A hound is bred to follow their nose, just like a lab retrieves, training them what to follow and what not to follow is the training part. . hound hunting is not really something you just jump into easily...if you actually want to do it, it takes full dedication.
