Horse Packing

I am looking for some one that does pack trips to take myself and one other in about 5 to 7 miles (Uintas)and leave or stay up to who ever then pick up in 10 days and be able to take deer and elk out.

My back isnt what it was and can no longer make several trips in and out with gear and animals.

I am looking to be able to do this yearly with the same person if possible.

I am a bow hunter so this would take place in Aug.

If you know of anyone and prices please let me know.

Have you considered how your going to keep the meat if you shoot a monster early on? It will keep for some time if done properly (search for past threads on this), but August is HOT!!! Is there a possibility of hiking out if needed and having the packer go up for an early retrieval? It'll add to the cost of the hunt, but...



Of course one could build drying racks and make a lot of jerky...
