I usually dont sell many sheds but have a gu who wants about 20 4pt sheds 150-180 class deer. So we are talking 65 to 80in singles with no breaks. What should I ask for?
thanks

I would call a few different sellers and see what they offer first. Seems like everybody and their dog will buy antlers right now. I had a cool experience 2 weeks ago with the guy I sell my antler to that was yet another example why I sell to him. I had a couple really good sets that I had worked really hard for and was having a hard time parting with. My buyer tells me "once you sell them they are gone..." and encourages me NOT to sell them to him! It really meant a lot to me to have an honest guy give me an honest answer all the time knowing he could of made good money on the antler he could of bought from me. I bet you can guess who I will continue to sell to next year or the next or whenever the prices do actually go back down because I know he will still be honest and fair with me. He has earned my business. I would definitely recommend giving him a call. Sliverslinger400

Dont sell yourself short. $14-$15 bucks a pound is a fair price! You shouldnt go by what a horn buyer will pay they have to make money off you. Around here their paying $7-$9 a pound. I wont even let them look at mine for that, its just not worth it.

Good luck on saleing your antlers, but keep in mind this is a supply and demand business. Your not going to be getting 14-15 a pound anytime soon for your sheds, buyers will normally give you a little more for bigger horns, but like a buck or two more a pound. Just because you think your ford is the baddest truck ever, doesn't make it worth 2x as much! Market value is all you can honestly expect, if there worth more to you, pile em up and keep them!

I just call em as I see em!
