Hopland info, please

Has anyone ever drawn/hunted the HREC Hopland hunt and care to share your experience?
This is for the regular draw, not the $3500 one.

I drew it last year on the second Saturday. Beautiful country, but not many deer early on. Only 1 buck was seen and missed that weekend out of i think 12 hunters. I don't plan on applying again for it, but I know a guy who was very involved in that program and there are some nice bucks taken but mainly during the rut.
