Let's hear about eveyones non-hunting related hobbies. What keeps you occupied during your off time. Besides the hunting stuff I'm into pistol shooting (gotta love having your own indoor range), german shepherds, and Saltwater Aquariums. Once spring gets here I also really enjoy working in the yard and growing a garden. Nothing beats a fresh tomatoe out of the backyard.

Coaching my sons sports teams keeps me pretty busy.
I coached baseball, football and basketball this past year.

while in law enforcement, my big interest was firearms. Competition pistol shooting and even squeezed in working a apprenticeship under a master gunsmith for two years on building custom rifles and general repair work.
Did that for ten years and finally gave up my FFL due to the new restrictions I faced every year in CA.
After retiring I restored a 1968 Mustang and got into custom knife making. No damn restrictions there yet!! I have been doing full customs for just over a year and have reached the point that my knives are selling at a average of over 200 bucks and have sold several in the 300-400 dollar range.
The wife loves my new hobby of knife making, keeps me in the shop and not underfoot, and most of all it pays for itself and a nice amount of rathole money on top. Alot of the skills I learned in gunsmithing and stock work have helped in the knife making.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-18-08 AT 10:30PM (MST)[p]Other than hunting, it's mostly baseball. I've got three travel teams that play in the summer. We have a ten week season, and over that span two of those teams, the 16s and 18s, will each play over 50 games. The collegiate level players will play about 30 games in that span. All told, we've got about 70 players with us, most of whom are either playing college baseball, or will be playing college ball after they graduate from high school. This summer, our 18s team will be one of the top teams in California, and possibly the entire country. It is loaded with kids who've already got college scholarship deals, and some of them are only juniors this year.

After that, fishing is good. Mostly saltwater fishing for us. While I love catching stripers, salmon and halibut, there is just nothing like having a big yellowfin tuna try to rip your arms off! If it's freshwater, its usually steelhead.

I enjoy a fast dirt bike and I also enjoy looking for arrow heads and other cool stuff. Pretty much anything with my family!

My No. 1 Hobby is Artifact Hunting. No. 2 Rocks and Fossils. No. 3 Shed Antlers. No 4. Gun Nut. Just love being out-of doors.Even had an outdoor job for 25 years in the Logging business. This MM website keeps me entertained when the cabin fever syndrome sets in.

Spending time with my children, playing Baseball, Football or taking them Fishing. I really enjoy spending time with my boys, we also spend a couple of hours a night shooting our bows. Next week they will be taking their Hunter Safety course. I also take my boys hunting everytime I go if they want to go and most of the time they want to.

My #1 passion besides guiding/hunting is competitive bodybuilding.
I actually have a show in SLC in one week that i have been training and dieting for, for 6 months.

Another passion i have that has kinda slipped through the cracks was competitive bass fishing, but i'm thinking about takingit back up again and still have my bass boat.

But i am sure liking kilowatt's #1.....i'd toss all mine for that one!!

For the guys on here that like artifact hunting, maybe we can trade some.

I have a 40 year collection and go several times a week. Today in fact.

Finding something no person has touched for 3 or 4 thousand years is a rush..........

Since I dabble in amature porn I'm wondering if I've ever seen kilowatt on the set. I was unaware the he was a touch up artist.

I do just about anything outdoors.

I also spend much of my time with Basketball and softball leagues for me and then I coach my boy (4 of them) in all their sprots as well(soccer, baseball, basketball, wresteling).

We also love to go camping and fishing when we have the time between ballgames and practices.

I also have my own business on the side designing house plans.
So if anyone is planning on building and needs a plan drawn up let me know.

Jeff

Apart from that I dont have to much free time.
