I had a great shed season this year finding my best single antler, my best dead head, taking a new friend shed hunting, training a shed dog and losing a few pounds. Here are some pictures.

My new friend "Elmer" holding my best shed in his left hand and the match in his right hand that a local rancher had found the year before. The match measured up to 193" with a 23" estimated inside spread.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-04-09 AT 03:06PM (MST)[p]thanks for sharing those great sheds! Great Dog!

Awesome pictures nancy drew... looks like you got it figured out how to post pictures. I know you have a lot more sheds than that lets see some more of them. Its to bad that rancher wouldn't give you that other side to that buck... those ranchers are stingy bout sharing things. We will all have to take a trip to Montello next year for a shed hunt.

Stitzel, a shed hunt to Montello would be great! In regards to the rancher and the shed I'll have to say that he was as generous as anybody could be. He made a suggestion that we should mount the set with a deer hide and take turns displaying it in our houses. He also let me borrow his side to enter the set in a shed antler contest at Muley's bar and grill. Usually when somebody finds a shed and then a second party finds the other side, the second person forfiets his antler to the first person. This is not a written law and many people kinda follow a different set of ethics so its kinda up in the air. But if the truth be known I'm kinda the stingy one, ha ha. fatrooster.

Am I invited to go shed huntin Ha Ha we could have a contest beer for the biggest the most and SMALLEST (that way lance can have a beer too)
