Let's see em'..

It's been a few years since I have done any backpacking into the high country.. I am leaving in a few days for a 5 day hunt into the back country, it's not a known great area but it's gonna be nice to get away for a while and enjoy the scenery at 10,000'..

Share you're pics please..They don't have to have animals in them (although that's a plus) just the scenery will get me excited..

I'll start it off with some pics of past trips..

Colorado..

Dang BS! Thanks for blowing my productivity this morning! Looks like you we're hunting the high country before it was publicized and deemed cool. Love that 10yr old pic!

Here's a few of mine, all taken above 10,000ft.

Mine are not nearly as good as some of the others posted prior, but I had a great time and thought you guys would enjoy the pics.
This was from a trip that backcountrycrazy and I took while scouting for elk. We saw tons of elk, some decent bucks, and had an unforgettable time in the high country chasin' critters and catchin' trout!

Bucksnort,
Yup there are rainbows in that lake. My wife's great grandparents stocked it back in the 40's. They packed the live fish up in their backpacks. Grandpa had told me they even packed up shrimp to give them some good food over winter. He told me there used to be some big 'uns back in the day. Now they are just small pan fryers. But good fun none the less.

I've got a few. Seems like that's all I seem to get are pics and not much for hero shots with the critters :)

Scouting with my youngest son.

Bcboy, I've always loved your pics but that cabin is over the top! Do your kids understand how good they have it? :)
