I'll tell you how a uncle of mine got them to leave him along. He was living in Fresno, CA. and these two JW women kept bugging him to accept their Watchtower magazine.
My uncle was a WW11 vet and did not agree one bit with the JW pacifism teaching. He was nice to them the first three times and told them no thanks he was of another faith and did not want their Watchtower.
About the fourth time in as many weeks, he finally got fed up with these two women pestering him. He told them that he finnally decided that he needed to accept their watchtower magazine. While looking at them with a straight face he stated, ladies I will accept your watchtower magazine as I so happen to have ran out of toilet paper and I need something to wipe my a$$ with.
They never bothered him again.
