Hey hey Obh;
Had a pretty good time. Of the four of us, three bucks: 28 in 4x4, 24 in 4x5 and a 22 in 4x4. Steve got the 28 incher and he earned it! Heck, I even stayed ' til the last day. Was watching two really good bucks, but they were on private and didn't move off. The snow up high got me excited, hoping to get a crack at the big boys coming out of the Wilderness, but all I got riled up about was the WOLF sign chasing the elk herd that came out. "Continuing disgusting commentary about the wolves". We had a great time and now knowing what I know........we'll go back. You got a PM.

The three bucks you described sounds like a GREAT time, not just a pretty good time. Nice job this year, way to go!! You have any pics of the bucks you could post? Also, were you hunting in Oregon - assuming so since we're in the OR forum but just curious. If so, what area of the state or unit were you in? Don't want specifics, just curious about the area given the wolf activity you described. Thanks.

We were in the Imnaha River area where the wolves were. I told one of the Fed Bios about them. I really HATE seeing their expansion. Heck, the Feds & state killed a couple of them by Keating after they killed 50 something livestock animals. The locals talked about three younger ones that were escorted out of town last winter.
