Before Remington's Quality went Down!

I Bought Some New RUM's in Stainless!

Found Some Used 338 RUM's!

But I Like Brand Damn New!

Never Did Get me a NEW 338 RUM!

I Like the older Remington Stainless 700's/XCR's!

Then Remington came out with the Newer 'BUTT UGLY" XCR II's with the Black Barrel & Green Stock!(Ya,I Know the Barrels are Still Stainless!)

"IF" Could Hunt ... all he needs is a Winchester Model 70 in 257 Roberts. Max would be a 6.5x55.

Men, PROUD men and Strong Hunting Ladies uses a semi auto 351 (Bought cheap from Prisons and Police) or a Commercial 30 Remington, Semi Auto. Such latter guns were owned only by the wealthy yet, in time, brought Home many Bucks & Elks. Even an M1 Carbine can totally kill an Elk, Trophy Elk indeed. 30-30'zzz 30-40 Craigs, and my favorite = open sighted M1 Garand.

If Elk does not reload, he is missing out on vast accuracy truths.

Oh well, I doubt Elk would ever go seriously Elk Hunting with a 257 Roberts. Getting up out of Camp Sleeping Bags = Hard. Hiking up hills = Hard. Killing Meat, = Simple.

Sorry, I am in California. Elk is a Mountain Man in Free Utah. My Boo-Boo.
