OH WELL ,IT WAS WORTH A SHOT, YOU KNOW MOST OFF YOU HAVE THE SAME QUESTION , I WAS SEEING IF ANYONE WAS WILLING TO SHARE A LITTLE INFO. BUT LIKE I SAID, HAD TO TRY.
Most shed hunters put a lot of miles in to find decent shed hunting areas. I'm sure all of the reponders are good guys.
Their real message for you is that you need to put the time and sweat in like they did to find good areas. I wouldn't know where to go to shed hunt the Henry's either but my son and I might give it a try anyway.
I have been down there a few times allready this year and in years past but all i seem to find is old calked cracked up whites,i keep having that feeling ,iam just it the wrong area. walk my a## off by just no good brown.
if you're finding white ones you are in the right places either to early or too late. Keep trying, maybe call the local Bio and ask him where the deer herd winters and that would be a starting point.
"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".
I was down on a buff hunt this past Nov. A couple guys hiked back in an area chaseing a buff and came out with a whole ton of sheds but as of last week that area was under about 3 foot of snow. I think I forgot where that area is.
