I am taking my son out spike elk hunting for his first time this year. We are planning on going to Strawberry Res. I was hoping that I could get some pointers on trying to locate some elk for the archery hunt starting in August. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Use your optics and watch around water/feed to bedding transition areas. There's still a few elk around there you'll do fine if you put some time in.
