Hello from Dayton Nevada

Just wanted to say hello as I am a new guy to the site and a new old guy to mule deer hunting. This was my first year hunting for deer in Nevada. I got a leftover archery tag for areas 101-109 and spent 5days hunting in the Harrison Pass area of the South Rubies.I really used this hunt as a learning hunt for mule deer as I have been hunting blacktails in Calif. for years in the timber and not on open terain. I can say that I am now hooked on Nevada hunting----jim

Jimd...welcome to MM and enjoy the site. Just a word of causion, they is another ex-Kali guy a year or two older than you there in Dayton who's name is Jim also. He will steal your BEER if he knows you have some not being drank...LOL

I use to work with him years ago and he was a LUSH.....

Outside of that, have a good time out hunting. What part of CA do you hail from?
