Looking for info on wyoming season dates, I posted in the mule deer forum also. I thought maybe I would get some bowhunters who know what's up to help out. Looking at Region W or Region D, areas 80,81,or 82.
WY is funky. You draw the tag for the species, not the weapon, then it is up to you to pick how you want to hunt. So you could hunt with a bow during the early archery season and if you don't kill, you could then pick up a rifle once the general season starts. All you need is an archery permit to accompany your deer tag and you are good to go for the bow hunt.
i hunted this year. you pay 30 bucks or so for the archery stamp and conservation stamp. This year you could archery hunt all of sep then hunt the rifle season if you dont harvest on with a stick. Cool way to do it, it lets you hunt 45 days or so.
