Ive been looking for data on success rates for cow elk hunts per unit for state of utah from years past.

Where can I find that info? I have 2-3 points and I'd like to start finding which units that would be best to put in for next year.
Ive been able to look at the CWMU unit success and satisfaction info but would like to find more info on the units

Thanks

Outdoors , why ain't you whining about this thread?
Damn its good to see people helping out around here.

I put together a web site for the 2014 antlerless drawing that I think is exactly what you are looking for: http://www.trophyunit.com

The table on the site pulls together the antlerless data from various PDFs and web pages into a single sortable table in a web page. It includes 2012 and 2013 draw odds and gives you a customized view for your point level and residency. It also shows the 2012 harvest success and mean days hunted (2012 only; 2013 isn't out yet, please call the DWR about that!)

Also, the table is sortable by the distance to the geographic center of each hunt area (for now, from SLC, but I am adding a way to enter any location), which is important for me. I think last year my cow hunt was unsuccessful mostly because the drive was just too long, I couldn't get out there enough. This feature has really helped me narrow down the CWMU choices.

If you visit it, please pm me what you think, if I should keep going on the project.
