Happy Memorial Weekend

I want to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Weekend. I think tis is a good time to challenge those to come out of their shells every once in a while. I've recently started to go thank a uniformed person for their service. I normally wouldn't have done this but I feel they deserve our thanks. The response I've received by simply saying "thank you for your service" to them has been great. They in turn stand up and thank me for their support. If anything, they hear from the public that they are appreciated. I challenge each of you to do the same. My kids often tell me that it is embarrassing when I do this. I turn to them and tell them the significance of their service and their tune has changed. It doesn't take much....when you see a person in uniform, thank them....they deserve it.
