"H" deer, remote nonwilderness areas

I currently have an "H" deer tag.

I am not looking for your honeyhole. I am looking for a place where I can hunt DIY (NR so no wilderness) and get in at least 2-3 miles over rough country. I want an area that is also a general tag for elk. I am using this deer tag to scout for elk for next year.

Once I combine decent elk and deer numbers, general elk, region "H" deer and large, rough remote are not wilderness the list shortens quit a bit. Still a lot of ground. Any units/rough areas you might suggest I consider? PM me so as not to let the world know.

I will study my own maps, figure out where to go and how to get in there etc. I just need to narrow down this large area.

I am currently considering 152, 153, 154, 156 deer units.

Thanks
