LAST EDITED ON Jan-28-10 AT 10:51AM (MST)[p]Has anyone met Guy Eastman? I always hear about celebrities being a renob but have never heard anything about him. I am just curious.

Rub some dirt on it, ya sissy!

I was talking to Guy at the ISE show in Sacramento last week. I run into him a lot at the shows. I've never hunted with him but he's a down to earth guy and I can't say anything bad about him. His dad comes across a little different but I think that's just because he's a little shy and not as outgoing.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-28-10 AT 11:49AM (MST)[p]i've talked to Guy 3-4 times, seems like a nice fella. Now Mike.... you better take some 5 Hour Energy to stay awake

What about David Long? I would love to be able to tag along on a hunt with him, Nate Simmons or Cameron Hanes. That would be an exhausting but really fun experience.

NO GUTS, NO STORY!!

Guy used to hunt birds on our place! They are all really nice guys, easy to get along with. Even Mike in my opinion is a very nice fella!

Most of the Eastman crew shows up at the ISE show in SLC each year. They'll always talk to you if go up a strike a conversation.

Guy has great people skills and is fun to chat with. Dave Long is the same way. I've enjoyed every minute I've spent talking with him.

I met Guy at the ISE Denver show and he was very nice and personable. I enjoyed talking with him and would like to have the opportunity again sometime.

My friend and I spent 5 days in a tent with him almost 10 years ago on a guided Idaho elk hunt.

I thought he was a real quality person.

I only met Guy once....seemed pretty decent; same for David Long. I've traded several e-mails with Mike and talked to him a couple times in person.

Other than neither Mike nor Guy know much about llamas (I've used them for years), they all seem like men with whom I'd share a hunt any time.

I believe Mike "bends over backward" to avoid even the appearance of cheating....not even predator hunting because he doesn't want to be accused of hunting on the winter range.

Within the shadows, go quietly.

Guy seems like a really nice guy to me. I've emailed him a couple times and he's emailed back even sending me pictures. Everyone talks of how Mike is hard to listen to and he's boring, but I actually like the shows where he is talking. Especially when it's a mule deer show and it's Mike. I like their old school music they used to have on their videos as well - seems like the hunts were a little more rugged and remote back then too; less guided hunts. But today's show with new music and Guy narrating is still on the top if you ask me.

I also have exchanged emails with Mike and he spent some time on one of the replys. I have spoken with Ike in person, very personable, talked to him for about 20 minutes. Seem to be very good people to me.

I have met both Mike and Guy a few years back. Guy was very nice. Mike was as well. At a show Mike put on here in Oregon I noticed it just took Mike some time to warm up to folks. I think they are both quality folks. JB

I met Guy and Ike in the Northwest Territories on a Caribou hunt. Although we didn't talk for long he seemed like a freindly down to earth person. I've since e-mailed him with questions a couple of times and he responded back promptly and was helpful.

I RAN INTO ALL 3 AT THE JW MARRIOTT IN CANCUN (AT THE BAR), ALL GOOD GUYS......IKE WAS THE MOST TALKATIVE BY FAR. THEY WERE DOWN IN MEXICO FLY FISHING......YD.
