Great trip today

We saw this sow with 3 cubs and very close on a ride this afternoon. What a treat. I've never seen them where I'm at before.

They were less than 50 ft and a little zoom was used. I was nervous .

We came around the corner and I thought for a half second they were calves. Then the sow started moving and I realized they were bears. We frantically pulled out the phones for pics. She stared at us for 3 minutes before they walked away. BTW I am in the Lemhi not far from where the hunter that was missing for 53 years was found.

Those bear close encounters are cool. It does get a little unnerving when they see you, and then decide to come a little closer.
