We had a great turn out for our 1st antler jam! here is some photos. thanks to Ray Cross for bringing his unbeleivable collection of heads. also thanks "youngbuck" for letting your goodlooking girlfreind bring down your shed collection while you were out on the hill looking for more horns! We had 32 deer heads, 12 deer skulls, and about 20+ sheds, and some of the biggest elk sheds you will see. one side was 220, and the other side was around 190 inches. I took a few minutes and added up the scores of all the deer heads, and horns and we had right at "10,000" inches of deer horns in one room!

buy the end of the day and the muledeer foundation banquet , we had over 200 peole show up.

we had this in Ontario Oregon, on 7/30/05.
the two catus bucks, one was from weiser idaho, 1942, and the one on the right side of the photo was malhuer co. 2001. all the deer on the metal stands were all local bucks, the nontypicals on the wooden walls are mostley oregon, idaho, and nevada. the elk sheds were off a private ranch, but im not sure where. they were purchaced at a horn auction.

What an awesome collection of bone. That would have definitely been worth seeing in person. Thanks for sharing!!

231,

Awesome pictures!!! Looks like it would have been a neat event to travel to. I'll have to keep it in mind next year, Ontario is a long ways away in the state, but well worth the trip from the pictures!

Those non-typicals are just incredible..... the guys at work were drooling and we're trying to figure out what "units" to put in tags for next year ;-)
