great antler growth this year

this year should turn out some large bulls and large deer in northern idaho, with all the rain we have been getting it should be a great year. ive got mixed emotions on numbers though, some days i go out and and am knee deep in deer and some days nothing but cow elk with calves, unit 11 just aint what it used to be thats for sure.

Cow elk with calves are the future of the elk herd. I wouldn't be disappointed with that... Not to mention, the bulls are likely seperated from the cows and calves at this time of the year. Glad to hear you are getting plenty of rain, that will help out quite a bit in terms of antler growth!
