Heard ol' Mossback and the crew killed a monster on the Wellsvilles, rumor is it was the Governors tag buck.

Any truth? Anybody know the story?

I used to see some nice bucks on that private ranch between the golf coarse and the summit. The one tucked up against the mountain above the dry lake.

The genes are there for sure.

Black Timber Outfitters killed a big buck on a CWMU near Mantua a couple years ago. 230ish if I remember right haven't heard of anything this year.

The #3 non typical in the world came off the Wellsvilles... Prob on the west face, but still, the genes are there. I saw pics of it as well, a toad!

I have a pic of the buck on my phone but don't know how to post. I'm guessing it's in the 220-230" range, 35"+ wide.

I got that pic in a text and was told it was off cold-water ranch. it said 40 inches wide and scored 231... just the text i got, it is not in the wellsvilles though. coldwater ranch is up blacksmith fork.

i wouldn't be surprised if a monster came off the wellsvilles again. definitely some odd genes and the potential to hold some giants.

244 6/8 to be exact. The buck killed a few days ago was on an adjacent CWMU. Have pictures of it a couple years ago. Its a great buck.
