thanks for posting those droptine. I figure the elk sheds gross about 370 or so. they have some great length on the main beams at about 60 inches and one even has some of the end broken off. They are from last year, so maybe he is bigger this year! I stained one side of the top skull in the pic. It looks pretty good. I used the minwax and mud technique that was floating around here a while back. I am going to try and post more pics of sheds, but for now I am off to the hills.
