Got em scored as a set. 161 7/8 and that is of course without the spread credit. Add another 20" onto that per B&C and you have a 181 7/8 Muley on hoof!
This buck made the NASHC top 10 Mule Deer Sheds of all time.
I am privilaged to have found them and put my name in the books, finally.

I'm having him mounted soon.

LAST EDITED ON May-29-09 AT 10:00AM (MST)[p]Ok folks, here is the link. And yes, the top ten. NO SPREAD CREDIT is allowed. And another note, any antler with one or more extra points longer than an inch is considered non typical.

There are alot of monster singles but not alot of MATCHED SETS.

Ok I see, Congrats on your antlers,
I have a friend that has a couple sets
that might rival the number one, but
I think one set has a 1 1/2 cheater.

Not to burst your bubble, but that list was updated in 2003. Which is before shed hunting become so popular and secondly less than half of the people get their sheds officially scored.

The latest NASHC Record book shows the top ten scores for matched typical Mule Deer as: 179 4/8, 176 5/8, 175 5/8, 173, 170 6/8, 168 4/8, 168 2/8, 165 1/8, 164 6/8, and 164 even.

There may be lots of sheds out there that are bigger, but only the ones that have been officially scored and entered into the NASHC Record book count. The others are just big sheds - not records.

I have a few of each.
