When out this morning to a new spot that I found some nice deer in. Saw 11 bucks in all one being a real nice four-point but couldn't ever get a shot. Later in the morning a nice two-point came strolling in at about 30 yards. I didn't make a very good shot, hit it to far left in the guts. After a long three hours of hard looking and tracking we finally found my buck. His coat was half brown and half gray, and was still completyly in velvet. I can't believe that I actually got buck fever on a two point. I don't think that I will ever hunt with a gun again, you just don't get the same experience. I have shot a total of four bucks two of which being much bigger than than the two point that I shot with my bow tday but none of them were as exciting as this one.
