Google Redirector trojan

I know some of you guys have computer problems (Bessy) so I thought I would post this up.

My wife called me at work and said her old laptop would go to weird search sites after clicking on a link after using Google to search. None of my regular stuff worked to fix it, MalwareBytes, Avast, SuperSpy search, etc. Turning off Firefox add-ons didn't fix it.
I ended up fixing it in less than 5 minutes and for "free".

HitmanPro was the app. http://www.surfright.nl/

I've got the same BS going on with mine as what your wife had!

Problem is I downloaded your Link HitManPro and it didn't help any on mine?

This PUTER is runnin neck & neck with CUPSYS,We just get us a new Puter every 1-1/2 to 2 years!

The Puter Geek Squad never seems to get it right either!

I have to ask, did you install the Hitman app??

If you are using Firefox for a browser you can go to the start menu, mozilla, then start firefox in safe mode. If that works the problem would be one of the add ons.

On another front, if you buy one of those USB hard drives and back up all your important stuff, then restart the puter in recovery mode and "recover" the pc back to it's original state, it will be just as fast as the day you bought it.
I keep everything important under one root folder off my C: drive. Everything goes in there, that way I just back up that tree and I know I have everything backed up.

Back your stuff up no matter what you do.

I'm no Puter GEEK!

After running the Hitman the 1st time it didn't change anything!

So I run it again and it's definitely helped this POS!

That jumping around all by itself crap was about to drive me nuts!
