good 2014 so far

I was lucky enough (after having max points on both) to draw a cougar and a bear tag here. Both were taken with my bow and both in Utah County. Within an hour drive from my door step. I had never hunted either of them my self before. It took a little edge off waiting for the fall hunts to arrive.
I had a lot of help and made some new friends that helped out a ton. It is amazing at the number of bears, we literally have in our back yard.

Congrats on a couple fine trophies and a hulluva start to 2014!

On the return trip from the Lone Peak summit, I bushwhacked from Lone Peak straight down to Alpine and was shocked by the amount and size of the bear sign right above all the nice big homes.

You're right, we have them literally in our backyards!
