Post up some of your favorite artists who are no longer with us but live on!

It's written in the good Book that we'll never be asked to take more than we can. Sounds like a good plan, so bring it on!

Buddy Holley, J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, Elvis, Waylon Jennings.

Most of the others are still above ground but............... their looking pretty rough around the edges, now days.

Chuck Berry, Willie, Meryl, Statlers, Oaks, Tom T. Loretta, Van Shelton to name a few.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-11-15 AT 10:08AM (MST)[p]By the way eel, I wore out both my Wilburys tape and CD before MP3s came along.

Can you imagine trying to put together a similar top tier artist group now days!? A Bruno, Taylor, Pitbull, Perry ensamble??? Yeah right!

Those guys were and always will be classics.

Eel - here is an artist I am sure you miss a lot!!

Good choices! You people play so much Chris Ledoux I'm starting to like it. That's scary.

TripleK, I sent you a PM about your brother again. Roy, I don't use a brush that big to paint my house.

Thanks for the posting Homer - brought back some memories many years ago when I was working a job in Bakersfield and a friend and I went out for dinner in the mountains at a place called the Greenback Copper Mine - believe it was an old stage stop turned into a steak house - the only one in the restaurant at that time was Buck Owens and some friends - before he left he signed a menu for my kids - what a nice guy and great performer - he had a tiger by the tail.

Ya he's still with us but it sounds like this crowd would enjoy it. Still got a great voice at his age.
