shooter using the 7595's, are you using 125 grain tips or 100 grain tips. this is my setup
70lbs
28 inch draw lenght
28 inch arrow
100 grain tip
7595
I am wondering if the heavier tip will give me better accuracy.

History: On my old mathews I was using 5575 and did not have a problem with them. Well on the outback it seems the 5575 are not flying well with broadhead and I went to 7595 and they are doing much better. I too wonder about the chart from gold tip is seems it is a little off. Thanks for the help.

One more thing I forgot to ask. Do you have a helical or offset on your gold tips. I am getting a little fishtailing (I think.....maybe not) and I have an offset fletching. I am beginning to think that my new matthews bow isn't forgiving as they say...oh well

A friend of mine bought an Outback earlier this year, he started out with his last years arrows, 5575-100grn-tip. He has since switched his setup to 7595s and 125grn tip, he says the performance now is unbeatable. I imagine the stiffer spine with a little more tip weight is a perfect balance for his 72lb draw setup. He feels the extra power or umph that this bow delivers is a little more than his old bow even though they were both set at 72lbs. He shoots a slight right hand helical instead of a straight one, I do the same with the same arrow on a Hoyt bow, it works out great! Good Luck!-ElkNut1

Thanks for the info. That 125 grain tip was the ticket. I went out and shot 125 grain broadheads this morning and that bow shot like a charm tight groups right off the bat. I didn't want to go the 125 tips because I didn't want to mess the that much weight but now I'm sorry I didn't do that earlier. thanks

Just to put in my two scents, i shoot an outback with 7595, and 125 grain tips, and love them. They fly great, i have had no problems.

The charts are not off, but it is hard to make a chart that works for every bow. If you are shooting a hard solo cam, and you are on the high end of the 5575, I would suggest always going to the 7595 the stiffer spine will shoot broadheads a lot better.
