we didnt find the other side but i have a good idea of where it might be now. this horn scores 97 inches as a four point its huge you have to hold it to beleive how big it is.

also that day i found the other side to a shed i found last year its the one in my left hand its and 85 inch shed and the big one puts it to shame.

I got a question too. does anyone know what the world record set of typical sheds score?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-09-10 AT 09:09AM (MST)[p]Thats a beast Milli. I sure hope you match it this year.

Here are the latest records for typical sets. Keep in mind they don't use inside spread, and these are net scores.

Milli, if yelum's info is correct, and when you find the other side its close to the same size, you may blow the record away, Now get out and find that other side.

dont be jumpin the gun prestige its a big horn but to say it will blow the record since 1970 out of the water is a bold statement.

The record is 186 and change
97+97= 194 That gives 8" for dedections..Pretty easy math
I would have to say ifs its close to the same size its going to beat it with out a doubt, That is one big F-ing typical

yeah im hoping the other side is the exact same hopefully it will net higher, that would be so sick! no not the strip i wish i knew the strip that well. thanks for the comments

very good on your math prestige.. i added that up to what im saying is a qualified individual comes out measures them not some kid and his dad measuring them plus if the other side isnt the same i was just sayin your jumpin the gun a little there. 40 years for a set of horns to hold up as the largest is quite some time. not saying it cant be broken. that is a dandy of a horn though. good job

That is a really big shed. My dad shot a buck back in the 80's that has a 98 inch typical side to it. Sadly the other main beam is only 24 instead of the big side which is 30. But that would be one heck of a set if you can find the other side. Congradulations on the find

haha Elk that is exactly what i was thinking but i didn't have the Cojones to say so. Great antler

i prefer it backwards so it dont distract my shed-ray vision :) ha yeah who knows about the official net score, the other side with my luck will be half eaten by yotes or picked up by sasquatch. i hope i find it tho it will help me sleep at night and focus in school. thanks for the comments every one.

u keep picking up those bones... u killing it this year, and keep giving me inspiration. And i'm pretty sure some KID and HIS DAD can measure horns, it's not rocket science.

I'm sure he can measure but official people are the ones that eliminate all these 400 class bulls and 260 inch bucks that are running all over the place. Don't count on it breaking any records until its official I think its a great horn hope it does break the record

400" bulls and 260" deer we all hear about are rarely substantiated with photos. I understand you just couldn't help your self from being a pessimistic kill joy. But why even say that. What good does it do. All it accomplishes is make you seems like a schumk that is jealous. What ever.

Milli- way to get it done it! That's a smoker bro. If you are close enough, you are more than welcome to bring it AntlerFest this year. I'd love check it out in person. Thanks for posting.

Hey Milli,
Here are the top ten singles entered in the shed record book. If yours goes 97 after deducting the extra, then it could be #1. If not, then top 3 for sure. I just had one officially scored that goes 91 6/8. That puts it at #7, but top ten entries must be panel scored, which is dificult here in UT, because we have no shed scorers, and very few B&C scorers will do sheds.
