gettin' ready...

tis' almost 'the season'...weather here has been 'socked in' for over a week, but still gettin' out...thought i'd try a different 'avenue' the other day, and got very lucky...me finding a deer shed is like trying to paint the moon blue...but, i found 2 sets, and several singles...i know, i know..they were all last year's and none were big, but...it was still a 'hoot'....i've been back, figurin' i'd find more, but...nada...anyway, i had one good day...

was in the general area this am, and spotted this fellow over the hill...

right under the big bush in the center...

not a huge one, but as you can see...visability is limited around here lately...and...cold..

wishing all of you 'luck' this upcoming shed season. am so looking forward to seeing all your 'finds'...be safe..

Me too breeder... I have the itch bad and stuck at work working 12 hour shifts with no days off till further notice. It's not near that cold here so I'm dying to get out there but gonna have to wait a while longer. Got any more littlefoot?

hey dale...nice post...now that i have calmed down a bit, i will respond..where i am is on our OWN private property. gee, i hope it's o.k. with you that i went there..i am beginning to understand why folks are becoming so reluctant to share pics on this forum, it might have something to do with friggin' idiots like yourself. all ya had to do was ask, instead of making presumptions...

Littlefoot, great stuff as always, thank you. i wanted to ask, the pic's of that bull...didn't you pick up a good shed from that same spot this past season? Seems that brush line looked familiar to one you had posted. I don't hunt sheds but always tune in to your great posts. Thanks!!!

hey, joey....thank you..i have never found sheds in this little draw, but i have found some within about 1/2 mile of it. have been through it several times thinking i will find the 'mother load', but nada so far...maybe this year. will let you know if i do...
