Gas vs diesel

I will be driving a 26' moving truck about 1,000 miles in may. It will probably be fully loaded. I currently have reserved a diesel but was wondering if you guys think a regular gas truck would be better, considering the price of deisel vs. regular gas. I know diesel hauls better, but is it worth it? Any advice from you diesel experts out there.

I would go diesel. You should get better mileage and save some drive time.

You will need to get 30% better fuel mileage out of the diesel to make up for the fact that the fuel is 30% more expensive than gas. So something like 10 mpg vs. 13 mpg, looks like it will probably be a toss up.
