Awhile back someone mentioned that there was a new game processor on the east side of Pinedale but I have done a search both here and google and nothing comes up with a new.
Closes one is Jackson and over in Thayne or way down at Green River.

Anyone know about a person in Pinedale that has opened up shop to cut, wrap and freeze game??

Thanks,

Brian

The only place I can come up with is called Specialty Meats ate 234 Pine St. PH:307-367-6411 It sounds like it might just be a grocery store with a meat counter, but maybe they do some processing during the fall game seasons. It may be worth a phone call to them to see what gives.

I had a moose tag in 2010, found a place in Boulder just south east of pinedale. They are not new but were just building a new shop then. They did a great job for a great price.
WR processing 307-231-2241 or 307-231-5705
I would use them again. Hope this helps

Thanks Hunter...that is probably the person that was mentioned before. I will keep the phone numbers and do a reversal check on the number and it should give me the address etc.

I used Jacob Wiggenton located at #12 Golden Circle in Boulder in 2011. His number is 307.537.5884. His prices were avg and he provided fast service.

You might contact Faler's General Store...they have a full grocery and sporting goods...if they can't handle it they should be able to steer you in a helpful direction...good luck...hth...what will you be hunting?

Faler,s has sold and is now a Ridleys and its not even close to the same. That's a whole other story though. As far as processors Wigginton has moved to Evanston ( sister in laws family) but I take all my stuff to Jackson to buffalo meats located behind smiths they do a great job and have a really fast turn around I got my whole buffalo back in 5 days

Ryan...thanks for the info that is the place I am sure I was told by a freind of mine where they took their Moose to be processed last year. I think it is the same place I used back in 1983 for storing Deer meat there while on another hunt.

They still have some hanging but most of the old timer locals that had mounts in there took them home. My best friend had his grandpas giant five by seven in there that scores over 400 and he took it home even though it doesn't really fit lol

UPDATE:

Received a reply back from Buffalo Meats in Jackson and that would be the closest place right now to take ANY game for processing if you are hunting around Pinedale or those parts of the country there.
