G5 MONTEC HEADS

Just wondered what you guys thought about these heads? I will be shooting these this season instead of the Grim Reaper. I've read lots of review's and 90% were good. Any info good/bad would be great. Thanks

I have shot 2 antelope and 3 white-tail with them and have no complaints. Great blood trails and all but once the head was reusable, pass through shot and hit a rock. Shot a doe antelope through both shoulders and the head look like it just came out of the package.

I like them because they are one piece and after shooting my bull, I couldn't tell it was used at all. Very expensive though.

I tried them all last summer and could not get the groups i was looking for. I tried magnus stinger and have loved them. I did use those G5's on carp this spring out of my recure and they worked flawlessly.

I can't say enough good about these heads. I had one that i had put through a broadhead butt into a fir fence twice, then it passed through a deer breaking a rib on either side and ending up in a tree. Next it went through a bear and into the ground, finally it went through another deer.All it needed after any of these was a sharpening. I'd probably still be using that one head but I found out the only thing that will destroy a montec...another montec! My wife and I were practicing and she shot first then my arrow went in right on top of hers and one blade cracked from the impact with her montec! But at this rate the 5 remaining that i have will last a long time.... well worth the extra money IMHO.
