Picked up some in 125 grain and have not shot them yet. Used Muzzy 100 for years and never had a problem but these really looked like a good broadhead.

Anybody here used them?

Lots of good feed back on the G5 , but 125 is pretty heavy , though I had trouble getting them to fly consistant with carbon arrows . That was 5 years ago , so I went down too 100 grains , now I shoot rockets and they are great . I've only shot at one animal since , a spike in 2003 and had a complete pass through . The arrow / technology is always improving from year to year so those 125s' may fly better for you too....NMHUNTNUTT

I have used Muzzy's for years...tried the montecs once, and love them. Haven't had a chance to shoot anything live..but they've been flying straight..and shoot great groups. I think you'll like 'em.

Attempted to shoot the Montec, but they seemed to whistle in flight. I had always shot muzzys, but they would not shoot well out of my new legacy a couple years back. So I tried a bunch and ended up shooting titanium rocky mountains. Love them. Have killed 2 deer and 2 elk since. Three pass throughs and one spine shot,(down hill and forgot to compensate, funny how that is forgotten when staring down a big bull) The broadhead was fine. Will shoot them for now.
The G5 looks awesome though, although I thought the sharpness was not the best it could be right out of the box.

I have not shot them yet but hope to. The 100gr just didn't have enough cutting width for elk.

Jason,

I've had the exact same problem with them whistling in the air. I'm curious as to why that would happen to some people but not others. What arrows were you using?
