Hi there everyone, I have been reading all your posts, and looking at your marvelous shed finds for some time now, and i finally decided to register and post something. Well, i must say that i only made it out a few times early in the year, with only finding a total of 10 deer browns and 2 elk browns. ALTHOUGH, i would havew made it out more if i didnt have to work all the damn time. I do have some frustration concerning shed hunting. Early this year i went to my own little honey hole that produces at LEAST 20-30 fresh deer sets, only to find that not only had someone already been in there before me, but they had driven ALL OVER TARNATION with their damn atv's. Now i know some of you can relate to my anger, because to me, there is nothing more frustrating than walking about 3 to 4 miles or more in prime shed area and seeing nothing but atv tracks. I am an avid walker, and if i had a horse i would prolly ride him to find my sheds just so i could cover more ground in one day, plus the fact that you can see more from the elevated position. PLEASE i encourage all you atv shed hunters to please start walking or riding horses to find your sheds. Because if i come upon someones atv in the wilderness, and i see they have ridden all over the place off of designated roads, mark my words, i will start grabbing fistfulls of wires and tubes off of it! That may be a mean, or an over-reacting statement, but i am fed up with it and the DOW will not do anything about people who ride off of designated trails. OK thank you all for hearing me out and i look forward to making friends with you all. I will post pics of this years sheds as soon as i get more time to do so. have fun and good luck to all you hunter in this season and seasons to come!

I total agree, people need to either walk or ride horses becaue it pisses me off to walk up steep hill and snowing side hills only to find all the sheds picked up by lazy people who have no right to drive vehicles into a vehicle restricted area. Turn them in if you catch them, I always carry my cell phone with me and I always report people I see in my areas with vehicles because they don't need to be there. If someone else walked into my area, yea it sucks, but at least he walked in there the same as I did.

It's good to see you start posting. I hadn't posted on here for a long time, but decided people might want to see a couple of my pics. I used to post alot on here when this site first started. I really enjoy checking out the pictures that other guys are posting on here.

As far as atv's, I couldn't agree more! It has gotten really bad within the past few years. I have seen a lot of atv tracks when I'm out shed hunting, but I have never actually caught anyone on one? The worst part about it is the damage they are doing to the winter range! I don't know what it's going to take to enforce the laws, but I hope it happens soon.

Here is another picture. Maybe next year I will take more "as they laid" pictures, but until then I hope you enjoy the ones that I do post.

This post hits the nail right on the head. Nothing worse than hiking in to a winter range only to find ATV tracks have pumbled the sage brush. Good post Outdoor_Extremist36 .

Those ATV's are a pain in the ars if you know what I mean. They screw things for me every year...all these areas are closed to ATV's!!! I feel your pain of having a good area trashed by them.
