I wondered about that story. Wonder if the injured dude told his buddies to move on because he's a tough ole coot. No matter, I would never have left anyone behind who needed urgent medical care- friend or not.

Back in Boy Scouts on the second day of a 6 day hike, a member of our group fell off a log and o to a jagged stump, gouging a 4" gash in his thigh. Guess what? Our trek was over. Nobody thought about anything but making sure he made it out safely.

I'm guessing the other members of his group had to have more content for their IG accounts...
