Headed out with my old man Saturday evening, we slept in the truck and started hiking at 4am this morning. As the sun began to rise above overcast skies we noticed a dusting of new snow above 8000 ft. This was in SW Idaho.
The trip went really well. Saw 2 bucks, a 3 and 4 point both about 25 inches wide and a really nice 6 point bull from about 75 yards.
Can't wait for October!
